Christina Perri is a mom! The “Thousand Years” singer welcomed her first child, a girl, with husband Paul Costabile on Wednesday, January 17.
Costabile shared the big news — and first photo of his newborn daughter — via Instagram.
“The greatest gift we’ve ever known !!! Welcome to the world Carmella Stanley Costabile born today,” the Beat the Clock host wrote. “Mom and our little principessa are doing great. Dad can’t stop crying!”
As previously reported, Perri, 31, announced her pregnancy in August via Instagram. Four months later, the couple revealed that they tied the knot.
“on this day four years ago, we met. today, WE GOT MARRIED!!!,” the “Jar of Hearts” crooner captioned a photo of her new husband dipping her and holding her baby bump on December 12 via Instagram.
The entertainment reporter, 30, shared the wedding news with a sweet message about his longtime love on Twitter.
“4 years ago today I met my dream girl in this room. 4 years later today I married my dream girl and best friend. Pretty sure I’m the protest I’ve EVER been to be able to ball the most bellissima person + woman I’ve ever known now my wife!!!” Costabile wrote at the time.
He continued, “Whoa. I thank God for the gift of her, our relationship, our bambino on the way, our family’s love and support and this unforgettable year. And for our friends and fam wondering… invites to an official shindig coming soon…now I’m going to go scream this news on rooftops across this town because I AM that guy.”
Perri recently shared a three-part video montage of her pregnancy.
