Mom’s the word! Nicole “Coco” Austin isn’t about to let any haters judge her or her family for their social media usage.
On Saturday, Dec. 5, the Ice Loves Coco star, 36, assured fans that she’s not doing anything wrong by sharing moments from her baby daughter’s first days of life; in fact, she said, she’s just a proud mom.
Her statement came after one commenter made a remark on a Facebook post Coco shared on her wall on Friday, Dec. 4.
“Coco darling, don’t exploit your newborn beautiful lil angel,” the Facebook user wrote. “I say with respect honey.”
Coco, however, defended her decision to share photos of baby Chanel Nicole, whom she and husband Ice T welcomed just one week ago, on Saturday, Nov. 28.
“How is this exploiting her?” the reality star shot back. “I’m proud that I’m finally a mama … does she not look happy?”
On Saturday, Dec. 4, the first-time mom shared an adorable shot of her little bundle of joy wrapped up by a Christmas tree.
“My sleeper choice of the day,” the caption for the photo, posted on Chanel’s own Instagram, reads. “Since I have a vast wardrobe already I’m gonna start posting my wardrobe choices… Is that a good idea?”
Not all Facebook users had negative things to say about the social media activities in the baby’s name, however.
“I love how coco is different than most celebrities,” one fan wrote. “She shows how she enjoys having a blessing and not using her for $$ or as an accessory. You can tell her and ice are infatuated with this lil one that they hoped for she is perfect from head to toe she definitely took after ice I love her little dimples.”
Coco has had struggles with getting pregnant in the past, which was documented on Ice Loves Coco.
