While the NBA star, 37, was unable to attend because he had to work, the 46-year-old actress was joined by Zion’s 17-year-old brother, Zaire, and the couple’s 5-month-old daughter, Kaavia. (Wade shares Zion and Zaire with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches.)
Union and Zaire posted a series of photos and videos from the pre-teen’s big day on their respective Instagram Stories.
“@KaaviaJames 1st Miami Pride!” the We’re Going to Need More Wine author wrote alongside a video of her daughter.
Zaire posted a pic with his brother, writing, “Love you lil bro no matter what.”
Wade, for his part, reposted the photos of his wife and family supporting his son.
“Zion had his [own] cheering section today,” the Miami heat star captioned a photo of various family members on Sunday via his Instagram Story. “Wish I was there to see you smile kid!”
“It’s a family thing,” Wade added alongside a photo of his two sons.
The basketball pro also shared a sweet snap of Zion and Union, gushing, “We support each other with Pride.”
After taking part in the parade, Union and the Wade family, who were decked out in rainbow gear, went to a drag queen show in Miami, per the Being Mary Jane star’s Instagram Stories.
Wade is also the father of son Xavier, 5, whom he shares with his ex Aja Metoyer. The athlete, who married Union in 2014, was granted custody of his nephew Dahveon, 17, that same year. The Bring It On star recently got candid about parenthood for her Parents magazine May cover story.
“We enjoy every moment. But days fly by in a blur of life,” she told the outlet. “It’s like watching a clip in fast-forward. I’m like, ‘No, I’m still in it!’”
