When cameras panned to Brooklyn Nine-Nine actress Chelsea Peretti at the Golden Globes 2018 on Sunday, January 7, she appeared rather distracted. 

“@chelseaperetti look up from your phone girl . . . you’re live,” tweeted one viewer.  Added another: “My favorite part of the #goldenglobes is the camera guy catching @chelseaperetti on her phone She is all of us.”

The mom of 6-month-old Beaumont, whom she shares with husband Jordan Peele, wasn’t being rude. She was just figuring out when to break out her breast pump.

“I had to pump and was checking what time to get up and do so in a bathroom stall,” Peretti, 39, explained in a tweet early Monday. #Glamour.”

Peretti wasn’t the only mama sticking to her pumping schedule at the Golden Globes. Nikki Reed shared a photo of her husband, Ian Somerhalder, holding a Medela with the caption: “Takes a real man to carry around your breast pump in a ‘to go’ box all night.”

Scarlett Johansson attended the 2015 Oscars with a breast pump tucked into her purse. At the time, her daughter Rose was just 5-months old. “I was nursing and every ounce was like liquid gold,” the mom of Rose, now 3, told Marie Claire in February.

Peretti and 38-year-old Peele welcomed their first child on July 1. The couple, who have been together since 2012, surprised fans by secretly tying the knot in 2016 after getting engaged in November 2015.
