Nikki Reed

Born May 17, 1988, Nikki Reed first caught the attention of fans and critics alike with her semi-autobiographical film Thirteen, about her troubled life as a 13-year-old, which she cowrote and starred in.

Reed appeared in several episodes of the hit teen soap The O.C. in 2006, and went on to act in several other TV shows over the next few years.

In 2008, the actress landed the role of a lifetime in Twilight, playing vampire Rosalie Hale, sister to Robert Pattinson‘s character. The film franchise was a massive success, launching Reed into superstardom. Best friends with costar Kristen Stewart, the two share the same taste in men — both have dated Pattinson while filming the series.

Reed has also been linked to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis, though the two are no longer together. She married American Idol‘s Paul McDonald in October 2011.
