So cute! Gwyneth Paltrow and her consciously uncoupled ex-husband, Chris Martin, posed for an adorable selfie at Disneyland on Sunday, May 15, where they reunited to celebrate daughter Apple's 12th birthday.
The amazingly civil former lovers looked super cute as they hid at the rocks at the bottom of the Thunder Mountain ride, having both chickened out of stepping on the roller coaster alongside their kids.
“When your parents can't handle #thundermountain anymore so they wait for you at the bottom.#disneyland #thehappiestplaceonearth #birthdayweekend,” the 43-year-old mom of two captioned the photograph, which she shared via Instagram.
The amicable exes and birthday girl Apple were joined by the pair's younger child, Moses, 10, who was spotted going on some tamer rides with his dad later in the day.
One fan, who snapped a picture of the foursome and shared it via Twitter, saw the former couple walking closely together through the entrance to the park, Martin apparently trying to keep a low profile under a black beanie, while his ex, Paltrow, wore a long blue denim skirt, sleeveless white top and a pair of shades.
The Oscar winner told Marie Claire in April that the family dynamic was even better now she and Martin are no longer married.
“It’s like we are still a family, but not a couple,” she told the magazine. “I think we are better as friends than we were [married]. We are very close and supportive of one another.”
