Hailee Steinfeld is sharing the first look at her and Josh Allen’s baby girl.
Steinfeld, 29, took to Instagram on Monday, May 11, to share a carousel of photos from her first Mother’s Day celebration. One snap showed the infant’s hand wrapped around Steinfeld’s finger, while another snap featured the baby’s legs and feet in an adorable white and black polka dot onesie with strawberries on the feet.
The post also included photos of Mother’s Day cards, a pancake breakfast and a cake that read, “Happy Mother’s Day!”
In the caption, Steinfeld wrote, “A day late but simply obsessed with this 💗.”
The Pitch Perfect 2 star announced in April that she had welcomed her and Allen’s first baby.
“We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savoring these early moments,” she wrote in her newsletter at the time, confirming she had a baby girl. “Thank you so much for the love and well-wishes.”
Steinfeld and Allen, 29, shared the news of her pregnancy in December 2025.
“As I step into my 29th year as a softer, stronger version of myself, I want to appreciate some of my favorite moments from this year, both big and small,” she noted in her newsletter before listing 29 things she was grateful for in honor of her 29th birthday. “29. This video …”
The accompanying clip showed off Steinfeld’s baby bump and her sweatshirt, which had the word “mother” on it.
In an Instagram video at the time, Allen kissed Steinfeld’s bare belly, and the pair held hands as they looked at a miniature snowman.
Days after the announcement, Allen reacted to the well-wishes he and Steinfeld received about their impending arrival.
“I’ve known for a long time, right? So it’s not that crazy to me,” the Buffalo Bills quarterback told reporters of the news in December 2025. “But yeah, I mean, obviously the love that I’ve received from teammates and friends, it’s a really cool special moment in my life. And my wife’s life.”
The following month, Allen opened up about how he planned to balance his demanding football schedule and fatherhood.
“I’ve got siblings that have kids, I’ve got a lot of friends that have kids and I don’t know if you can plan too far in advance,” he said in a January press conference. “I’m very much looking forward to that with my wife.”
Allen emphasized that his role as a dad would be “the most important thing in my life,” noting that he would “have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else.”
He added, “I know I love being a football player and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, but I’m looking forward to this one.”
As Steinfeld entered the final months of her pregnancy, she reflected on her journey to becoming a first-time mother.
“The most profound and grounding part of getting ready for this baby has been the introspective side of it [and] the quiet conversations I’m having with myself almost every day,” she wrote in a February newsletter. “Sometimes I find myself asking big, lofty questions (‘What am I going to be like as a mom?’) or having vivid daydreams of what our life is about to look like when the three of us are cuddled up in the nursery together.”
Steinfeld gushed that she and Allen were “getting ready to meet someone we already love so much,” noting, “I’ve racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don’t have them yet. Maybe that’s the point.”
