Influencer Lizzie Kieffer is honoring her late daughter, Lily, with a heartfelt message shared on what would have been her 2nd birthday.
“Oh how we wonder every single day what you would be doing, who you would be today,” Kieffer wrote in an Instagram caption on Sunday, April 12, alongside a video montage featuring some of her favorite moments spent with Lily. “A spunky 2 year old no doubt.”
The social media personality — who also shares daughters Mia, 3, and Isla, 7 months, with husband Matt Kieffer — said she’s a better parent and person “because of you,” noting that Lily’s “light never faded … it has absorbed into our family.”
“Your name will forever be spoken from our lips,” Lizzie continued. “You taught me so much in your 374 days of life … You taught me that love indeed can grow endlessly and there is ALWAYS room for more love.”
Lizzie praised her daughter for teaching her “to not sweat the small stuff,” quipping that Lily also proved that she can “survive with little sleep,” noting she “can count on my hand” the amount of times her baby girl had slept through the night. “And I’m so glad you gave us those extra middle of the night cuddles — oh how I cherish those,” Lizzie added.
“We miss you every second Lily. We ache for you to be back with us. And your sister Mia talks about you all the time ❤️ tells Isla all about you and where you’re at right now,” she continued.

“Thank you God for letting us know our Lily,” Lizzie concluded her post. “Thank you for choosing us to be her parents here on earth. Jesus — hold our girl tight until we get there 👼🏼 I can only imagine how delicious those heavenly cupcakes are. Save one for us please 🧁.”
Lily was 12 months old when she died suddenly in April 2025. The Missouri-based content creator said in her statement at the time that doctors discovered a large tumorous mass on her daughter’s brain “that we could have never known about as she never showed signs.”
A visitation service was held in Lily’s honor that April followed by a funeral mass. In her obituary, Lily was described as a “daddy’s girl” who loved spending time with her big sister, Mia.
Just a month before announcing news of Lily’s death, Lizzie announced in March 2025 that she was expecting baby Isla, who was born that September.
Lizzie has built up a following as a physical therapist and proud mom, teaching women about health and providing pelvic floor physical therapy tips for those in “prenatal, postpartum and beyond.”
