Swollen feet and heartburn be darned. Jana Kramer, who is pregnant with her second child, feels sexiest — and most confident — when she has a bun in the oven. “I get to be at the beach and not suck in!” the 34-year-old raved to Us Weekly at a recent Carters and OshKosh B’gosh event in New York.
The country singer encourages other expectant moms to show off their baby bumps, too. “Flaunt it,” she told Us. “Absolutely flaunt it.”
Kramer, who shares daughter Jolie, 2, with husband Mike Caussin, also revealed her thoughts on the occasional glass of rosé while creating life. “I do not judge anybody who drinks wine when they’re pregnant, but for me personally, if anything were to happen, I would beat myself up for the rest of my life,” explained the One Tree Hill alum. “I can put it away for nine months.”
When it comes to exercising while pregnant— Kramer says go for it — but notes that it’s important to speak to a physician first. “Don’t start doing intense workouts if you’ve never worked out before. And no sit ups,” she said. At the moment, the Whine Down With Jana Kramer podcast host is sticking to mostly squats and planks. “Just arms and stuff,” she explained, adding that it’s “not intense.”
