Jenna Wolfe has some studying to do! On Saturday's live episode of TODAY Weekend, the co-anchor, 39, got some extra attention from colleagues Lester Holt, Erica Hill and weather anchor Dylan Dreyer — all of them eager to celebrate Wolfe's recently announced pregnancy. In honor of that exciting news, the morning show team submitted themselves to a lightning round of "Know Your Baby," in which Dreyer quizzed Wolfe plus Hill and Holt, both already parents, on the art of baby-rearing.
Wolfe (who came out as gay and announced she and girlfriend, fellow NBC journalist Stephanie Gosk, will raise their baby-to-be together) gamely tried her hand as Dreyer held up one baby accessory after another — a "Bundle Me," a wipes-warmer, a diaper holder and more — but didn't pass with flying colors on the quiz.
"Bottom line? I'm in no way shape or form ready to have this child!" she joked. "Not true," Hill assured her. "You have a few months to get there."
Her team then gifted Wolfe with a baby basket including diapers, weight-shaped rattles and more. "This is the most adorable gift basket literally of all time," she gushed.
Wolfe admitted it's going to be a very steep learning curve when their baby — a little girl — arrives later this year. "I've never changed a diaper. I don't know how to decorate a nursery. I don't really understand what a breast pump is. And don't get me started on the feeding schedule," she wrote in a blog post. "Both of us agree that THIS little girl will be the biggest and best adventure of our lives."
