How sweet! Jennifer Garner spent the weekend peddling Girl Scout cookies outside a grocery store.
The mom of Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 5, shared a photo of herself on Sunday, February 11, in which she’s selling boxes of Thin Mints, Samoas and Tagalongs. In the picture, Garner is seen holding a colorful homemade poster that reads “GS Cookies for Sale!”
“Why yes, kind sir, we do have Thin Mints,” wrote the 45-year-old actress in caption. “#tistheseason #comeandgetem #whodoesntloveagirlscout.”
In her Instagram Stories later that day, Garner announced she was taking orders from social media followers.
“Good afternoon, I am so distressed to find out that some people don’t have access to a Girl Scout or Girl Scout cookies,” she said. “And while my Girl Scout and Brownie have to sell their own cookies, I did buy a limited number of boxes from them to share with you guys.”
She continued: “So if you truly have no Girl Scout in your life, please send me your order and your address and I will hook you up,” she vowed. “Because what would this time of year be like without Thin Mints, Samoas and now there are gluten-free Savannah Smiles and the newest ones are Girl Scout S’mores.”
Back in 2016, the 13 Going on 30 alum said on Live With Kelly and Michael that she went through “intense” training to become a scout group leader. She added that despite being a celebrity, she’s treated just like everybody else. “Nobody cares,” Garner said. “I’m just there with the group.”
Garner shares her three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck. The former couple announced they were splitting in June 2015, and Garner filed for divorce in April 2017 after nearly 12 years of marriage.
