Long hair everyone cares. When Jessica Biel shared photos of her son Silas earlier this month, some of the star’s more conservative fans sounded off on the 3-year-old’s curly flowing locks.
“I thought it was a girl,” snipped one person in the comments. Added another: “Please explain me why a Mother like yourself won’t cut your little boys hair?? Why????” A third urged The Sinner actress to “Pleaseee cut” the little boys curls.
Sadly, it’s not the first time the 7th Heaven alum, 37, and her husband, Justin Timberlake, have been shamed for the length of Silas’ mane. In July, when the Grammy-winning singer, 37, shared snaps of Silas in Paris, trolls were quick to pounce.
Though neither parent has responded to the criticism, plenty of people have come to their defense. As one woman wrote: “Your little guy’s hair is gorgeous! Those curls and natural highlights. I would be sad to cut that natural ombre off too!”
Biel and Silas spent their summer exploring Europe where Timberlake was touring in support of his Man of the Woods album. “It’s fun to be on the road. You feel kind of, like, a wild group of gypsies and you’re all in together,” Biel revealed last month on Today. “You’re seeing so many new places and I think it’s amazing for our son because he’s hearing new languages, and we’re talking about different countries and the names of countries.”
Timberlake wrapped up the European leg of his tour in Manchester, England, on August 29. “And I’m already nostalgic,” Biel wrote on Instagram at the time. “Europe, you’re a dream.”
