Jessica Simpson’s kids must have been extra good this year! The singer’s daughter, Maxwell, and son, Ace, got matching puppies for Christmas.
“Santa’s Nice List!” the fashion designer, 38, wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, December 25. “Merry Christmas.”
In the accompanying photo, Maxwell, 6, and Ace, 5, grin as they hold their tiny new Shih Tzu pups. The fluffy white and brown dogs appear tired from a big day of celebrating. The kiddos show off their Christmas pajamas too: a red-and-white striped pair for her and gnome-printed ones for him.
The Dukes of Hazzard actress, who is expecting her third child with husband Eric Johnson, shared several other photos from the family’s festivities. The former NFL player, 39, his wife and their children posed in their finest attire on Monday, December 24. “Church ready,” Simpson wrote on Instagram.
She later posted a pic of herself lounging in comfier duds on Tuesday. “All leopard everything this Christmas,” the “Take My Breath Away” songstress noted.
Simpson shocked fans in September when she announced that she and Johnson have another baby on the way. “SURPRISE…” she captioned an Instagram shot of her kids taking part in a gender reveal. “This little baby girl will make us a family of five. We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life.”
A source told Us Weekly at the time that the couple, who tied the knot in July 2014, were “surprised but overjoyed” when they discovered the news.
“Jessica and Eric are over the moon. They are so happy and very excited,” a pal of the Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica alum said. “It’s fun because Ace and Maxwell are at an age where they understand what is happening. They are really cute waiting for their baby sister.”
