Bumping along! Joanna Gaines, who is currently expecting her fifth child with husband Chip, showed off her baby bump on Thursday, February 9.
“Photoshoot today and there’s no hiding this baby bump anymore,” the 39-year-old Fixer Upper star captioned a selfie via Instagram. “(Chk my stories today for some fun behind the scenes).”
As previously reported, Chip, 43, announced the pair are expecting again on January 2 via Instagram. “Gaines party of 7.. (If you’re still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT),” he wrote at the time. The duo already have four kids: Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9 and Emmie Kay, 7.
The next day, Chip revealed a Johnny Swim concert led to his wife’s fifth pregnancy. “You might recall a few months back.. the ever amazing, ever romantic @JOHNNYSWIM was in Waco,” he tweeted on January 3. “And they put on a little too romantic of a concert.. anyways, one thing led to another, & we are officially pregnant. And I could not be more EXCITED! #5 #7ThePerfectNumber.”
Joanna shared a sonogram with fans and revealed Chip thinks the baby is a boy on the same day. “Chip swears he can already tell it’s a boy. Look at the little heartbeat!!” she captioned a video of the baby’s heartbeat.
The HGTV couple announced in September 2017 that Fixer Upper was coming to an end. The fifth and final season is currently airing.
Chip spoke to Success magazine about their decision to stop making the show in December: “Our oldest [child], who’s 12, is becoming a teenager, and Jo and I just realized in our hearts that as much as we love Fixer Upper, as much as we love the honor that we have felt with this show basically introducing us to the country, if not the world, we want to make sure that we’re here for our family during really crucial, pivotal points in its journey.”
