Sign her up to cohost Lip Sync Battle! John Legend told Us Weekly at the BBC Music Awards in London Monday, December 12, that his 8-month-old daughter, Luna, recently hit a pretty big milestone.
“She said ‘mama’ the other day. I missed it,” Legend, who is across the pond performing at the awards show, told Us, adding that his daughter “said ‘dada’ as well!”
The “Love Me Now” singer, 37, shares his babbling little girl with wife Chrissy Teigen. The couple welcomed Luna this past April and have continued to give us #relationshipgoals ever since. When asked what he considers a perfect date night with his Cravings cookbook author love, 31, Legend told Us: “Good food, wine and relaxation.”
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the duo got candid about their sexual escapades, revealing some of the public places they’ve had sex. Host Andy Cohen specifically asked Legend about the time Teigen revealed they got down during a Barack Obama presidential campaign event back in the day.
“It wasn’t at the White House, to be clear,” the Grammy winner said. “It was at a campaign event that we happened to be at.”
While Legend claims it was in a dressing room, Teigen maintained that it was in a public bathroom. Location dispute aside, the two agreed that things have simmered down since they became parents.
“This was 2008, by the way ― let’s not get 10 years of credit,” Legend concluded of their now-infamous moment, while Teigen added: “It was a long time ago!”
