The days are dragging for John Stamos. “This is the longest 9 months of my life! #cantwait 4 #fatherhood,” the 54-year-old captioned a Wednesday, March 21, Instagram post. In the throwback photo, taken on the set of Full House, Stamos (a.k.a. Uncle Jesse) wears a white T-shirt that reads, “Bun in the Oven.”
The Fuller House actor and his model-actress wife, Caitlin McHugh, are expecting their first child together. Us Weekly confirmed the 31-year-old’s pregnancy in January. A doting Stamos was photographed kissing and caressing her belly at the SAG awards the same month.

Stamos’ costar Lori Loughlin thinks her friend of nearly 30 years will be a natural when it comes to parenthood. He adores her daughters Isabella, 19, and Olivia, 18. “I’m so excited for him. I’m so happy for him. They wanted this. They wanted this baby,” the 53-year-old Fuller House star told Us Weekly earlier this month. “I’m so happy he’s going to be a dad. He’s going to be a great dad. He’s always been good with kids. And Caitlin is just the greatest girl. She’s so good for him. I’m happy to see that he’s finally found love.”
Loughlin and Stamos starred together on Full House for several seasons before reprising their roles as Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse in the Netflix revival, Fuller House. “We have a great rapport. We have great chemistry,” she gushed to Us. “It just comes very naturally to us.”
Meanwhile, it’s been a busy few months for Stamos. He and McHugh tied the knot on February 4, in the Little Brown Church in Studio City, California.
