Y’all, she’s back — and so is her little girl! Kelly Clarkson made her first public appearance post-baby by performing at the Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood concert in Rosemont, Ill., on Friday, Sept. 5. What made the night even more special? She brought her baby girl River Rose to watch her sing!
“Got 2 sing with @TYcom tonight in Chicago & watched her and Garth as well! Amazing show! It was River’s 1st concert!” the 32-year-old wrote via Twitter.
Clarkson’s daughter kept snuggled up in what appeared to be a car seat as she held a little stuffed animal. She sucked on a pacifier and rocked out while wearing oversized, bedazzled pink headphones. (Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock welcomed River on June 12. The singer introduced her to the world with a cute snapshot via Twitter on June 20.)

Clarkson performed “PrizeFighter” with Brooks’ wife Yearwood at the Allstate Arena, which is also the title of Yearwood’s upcoming album. Clarkson is featured in the new song, which marks Yearwood’s first album in seven years.
Another American Idol winner was also in the audience that night — Clarkson’s good friend Carrie Underwood. “Garth Brooks/Trisha Yearwood concert tonight in Chicago. I may have gotten misty-eyed a few times,” she wrote via Instagram. The country star announced on Sept. 1 that she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child.
