They’re seeing pink! Kevin and Danielle Jonas revealed on Monday, June 27, that they’re expecting a baby girl.
The eldest Jonas Brother, 28, and his wife, 29, made the sweet announcement on their Instagram accounts, where they both shared a collage of their firstborn, 2-year-old daughter Alena, holding an oversize heart-shaped pink balloon that reads “Baby Girl.”
“We’re having a GIRL!!!!!!!!” Kevin captioned the adorable photos.
As previously reported, the happy couple announced on April 25 that Danielle is pregnant with their second child.
“Prepping for baby number two! #babyjonas2,” she captioned an Instagram photo of herself surrounded by comfort foods while her musician hubby read the bestselling pregnancy guide What to Expect When You’re Expecting.
Last month, Kevin revealed that he was hoping baby No. 2 would be a girl during an interview with Nigel Barker on SiriusXM’s The Gentleman’s Code.
“I’ve always just wanted two kids that were both girls, and my wife was like, ‘Why?’” he said on May 24. “I’m like, ‘Because I’ve been around boys so much my entire life that I want to be surrounded by girls.’”
Kevin and Danielle welcomed their first daughter in February 2014. Since then, they’ve shared countless photos of Alena growing up.
Shortly after Danielle announced that she was expecting a second little one, she posted a pic of the toddler smiling while wearing a cute T-shirt that read “Big Sister.”
The duo tied the knot in December 2009 after two years of dating. His younger brothers and former bandmates, Joe and Nick Jonas, served as his best men at the wedding.
