From generation to generation. Khloé Kardashian revealed which parenting lessons she learned from her late father, Robert Kardashian, that she plans to pass down to her newborn daughter, True Thompson.
Khloé praised her dad via an app post on Thursday, April 18. “The one thing I would take away from how my dad was with us is unconditional love,” gushed the 33-year-old of Robert, who died of cancer in September 2003 at age 59. “It’s the entire point of family.”
The Revenge Body host also raved about the impact that her mother, Kris Jenner, has had on her own parenting style. “There’s absolutely no way I could pick just one parenting technique I’ve learned from my mom,” she explained. “She’s just so incredible and has taught me so much.”
An insider exclusively told Us Weekly that Khloé is enjoying every moment of motherhood since welcoming True with her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, on April 12. “Khloé is absolutely obsessed with True and is up with the baby in the middle of the night whenever she cries,” revealed the source. “Khloé does have a nanny, but she is hardly working because Khloé is so hands-on.”
Added the pal: “[Khloé has been] very emotional because she didn’t ever think she would become a mother, and considers True to be a miracle.”
Although the Good American designer is head over heels for her little one, the days leading up her birth were tumultuous. Thompson made headlines two days before True’s arrival when news broke that he cheated on the reality star. In photos and videos published by various sites, the 27-year-old NBA player and model Lani Blair were snapped locking lips at a New York City nightclub on April 7 before heading back to the city’s Four Seasons hotel. Blair was spotted leaving the resort with an overnight bag on Monday, April 9.
Despite her beau’s infidelity, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the new mom is entirely focused on raising their daughter. “[Khloé] is absolutely not even thinking about her relationship with Tristan,” the pal said. “The primary concern Khloé has is that Tristan and True are bonding.”
Another source told Us that the Cleveland Cavaliers player is “incredibly remorseful” over his infidelity and “is asking [Khloé] to give him another chance and to give them time as a couple and as a family to bond, especially with the off-season looming.”
