Gushing over her grandson! Kris Jenner spoke about the newest addition to her family, 2-week-old Psalm, and explained the meaning behind his name.
“The inspiration was the Book of Psalms in the Bible,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 63, told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, May 22. “I think it’s just a wonderful way to celebrate how they feel. And he’s such a blessing, so it’s perfect.”
When asked about the cutest thing the little one has done so far, the reality star said, “I don’t know, he’s just adorable!”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their son on May 9, with Psalm joining older siblings North, 5, Saint, 3 and Chicago, 16 months.
“He’s here and he’s perfect,” the KKW Beauty creator, 38, tweeted the next day. “He’s also Chicago’s twin lol. I’m sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her.”
On May 11, she added: “We celebrated our baby boy about a week ago and now he’s here! He’s so perfect! I was freaking out for nothing because he is the most calm and chill of all of my babies so far and everyone loves him so much.”
The Selfish author revealed her son’s name on Friday, May 17, sharing a screenshot of text messages from West, captioned, “Psalm West.”
The rapper, 41, wrote, “Beautiful Mother’s Day with the arrival of our fourth child. We are blessed beyond measure. We have everything we need.”
He and the makeup mogul “had multiple names” for their baby boy before his arrival and “didn’t decide [on Psalm] until a day after the birth,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively earlier this week.
“All the kids are so excited for the new baby. It’s a very special time,” the insider added. “Kim and Kanye are so happy. Four [kids] is the same as three in terms of how much they have on their plate. Their life is totally rooted in their family.”
