Grateful for her little girl. Kristin Cavallari shared a new photo of her nearly 1-month-old daughter, Saylor, on Monday, December 14, following the tragic death of her brother Michael.
“My little angel, Saylor. She has been my light throughout this whole thing and has given me so much strength,” the Hills alum, 28, captioned via Instagram. “Thank you baby girl for coming when u did. and thank u @bocobaby for this adorable blanket xo.”
In the pic, Cavallari shared a peek of her baby girl’s legs and feet. All bundled up, Saylor wears pink sweatpants and sits on a monogrammed blanket. (Cavallari and her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, welcomed their third child on November 23. They are already parents to sons Camden, 2, and Jaxon, 19 months.)
As previously reported, Michael was found dead at the age of 30 in Utah on December 10, just three days after he was first reported missing. According to the Grand Sheriff’s Department, his body was located in a “steep and very rocky area” near the I-70. His 2014 Honda Civic was abandoned three miles away on a highway in Grand County. On December 11, Grand County Sheriff Steven White told Us that the cold temperature was most likely a “contributing factor” to Michael’s death.
The mom of three thanked fans for their support following the tragic news. “My heart is in a million pieces. Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh,” she captioned a throwback Instagram photo of the siblings on December 10. “You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I’m at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP.”
