Kylie Kelce and husband Jason Kelce appear to have it all, but even the sports power couple need help with childcare.

“We don’t necessarily want a live-in nanny or someone who’s going to be raising our kids void of us,” Kylie, 34, explained during the Wednesday, October 14, episode of the “IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson” podcast.

She confessed, “That feels weird,” but later admitted that the couple “do have a nanny” who doesn’t live with the Kelce brood.

“I always give a shout-out because we couldn’t do it without her, but we have her during regular work hours and really nothing outside of that,” Kylie said.

The “Not Gonna Lie” podcast host, who shares four daughters with Jason, 38, noted that outside of a weekday nanny, the pair turn to her mom and dad for extra support.

“We couldn’t do it without my parents. My parents live 15 minutes from us, and they have helped us in every way imaginable,” Kylie continued, noting, “My husband and I have very busy schedules.”

Kylie — who married the retired Philadelphia Eagles center in 2018 — shot down the misconception that staying close to home in the greater Philadelphia area her whole life isn’t cool or normal.

“There definitely is this idea of, like, you haven’t lived if you haven’t lived away from your family,” she said, revealing that for her, living close to her mom and dad has only improved the way she parents.

Kylie told podcast hosts Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson, “We do a lot with my parents,” adding that they also spend “every chance we get” to see Jason’s parents, who live further away.

“We find that those are the values we were raised with that we want our kids to have,” she shared. “And not just because we tell them that but because we live it.”

Kylie and Jason met while she was in college in Pennsylvania in 2014 and he was already playing for the Eagles.

The couple tied the knot in April 2018, welcoming their first baby, daughter Wyatt, in October 2019. Daughters Elliotte, Bennett and Finnley followed in March 2021, February 2023 and March 2025, respectively.

While the Kelces have been a staple in the Philadelphia area for years during Jason’s career with the Eagles, the couple gained fame on a national level when he faced off against his brother, Travis Kelce, during the 2023 Super Bowl.

When Travis, who plays tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, began dating Taylor Swift that summer, both he and his extended family were thrust even further into the spotlight. (Travis, 37, married Swift, 36, in July.)

Despite their increased fame, Kylie and Jason have managed to live a low-key lifestyle — at least on the home front. Kylie points to her humble roots as part of the reason their girls are able to be kids without too much pressure.

“I just think that getting to stay put has given me the opportunity to give back to the community that raised me,” Kylie said on Wednesday. “It is really important to me that my girls get to experience things, that we get to sorta drive past a shop and I say, ‘Oh, that’s where Mom’s first job was.’”

She added, “You get those moments of not only nostalgia, but you’re connected to your community on a deeper level. When you have that connection, I think you feel a better responsibility, responsibility to give back, and then that is the example you get to set for your kids.”
