Blair Waldorf is beaming! Pregnant Leighton Meester and husband Adam Brody stepped out on Saturday, May 16, just two days ahead of their pregnancy reveal.
Meester, 29, looked over the moon while out to lunch in L.A. Proudly showing off her baby bump, she wore a tight-fitting gray top and kept her plaid button-up shirt open. Her O.C. alum spouse, 35, dressed casually, too, and stayed close to the mom-to-be. Click here to see more photos from Leighton’s outing.
Us Weekly confirmed on Monday that the couple are expecting their first child together. If it’s a girl, the Gossip Girl will have plenty of posh Waldorf clothes to pass down! Brody perhaps has some leftover Seth Cohen comic books, too (for a boy or girl!).
Meester and Brody, 35, met on set of 2011’s The Oranges. Us broke news in February 2014 that they secretly wed. The nuptials were so hush-hush that some of their former costars weren’t even in attendance!
“I did not go to his wedding. I think they wanted to kind of keep it super low-profile, so I did not take umbrage,” The O.C.’s Ben McKenzie told HuffPost Live in October 2014. “His wife is awesome. Leighton’s great.”
Brody agrees! “I do some stuff but she definitely does the heavy lifting (figuratively). Literally, I do the heavy lifting,” he said about their home life during a Reddit AMA last August. As for how many kids they want? “I say twelve,” he joked. “And I decide!”
