Fashionably late, indeed! Lily Allen made her first post-baby debut at the 2013 Brit Awards, but it she ran into a little trouble on her way there.
"Dear BRITs 2013 I am running very late, please do start without me," Allen, 27, tweeted Wednesday, Feb. 20. "Was en route but despite numerous reminders forgot nipple pads, had to turn around. BRITs 2013 carry on."
"Oh according to my driver the BRITs 2013 are no longer at Earls Court, this should only delay me by another hour or so," she then added. "Whoops."
The British singer welcomed daughter Marie Rose Cooper with husband Sam Cooper on Jan. 8. Allen, also mom to daughter Ethel Mary, 14 months, has been tweeting about her mommy woes since giving birth to her second child.
On Feb. 19, Allen wrote, "Left house without me nipple pads and me tits are leaking. Cold and wet. Not LOL."
Fortunately, despite having to make a return trip to her house and getting the wrong address, Allen eventually made it to London's 02 Arena. She also attended Warner Music Group's post Brit party at The Savoy Hotel, where Allen posed for photographers in a loose-fitting, multi-color tweed dress.
Enjoying her night out, the mother of two shared a close-up shot of her glamorous ensemble and wrote, "Tweed and guilt. Chanel. Brits."
