Too cute! Mariah Carey had some quality time with her little ones on Thursday, Sept. 18, when she took her twins to the Georgia Aquarium.
Carey spent the day with her daughter Monroe and her son Moroccan, both 3, at the aquarium in Atlanta. On Friday, Sept. 19, she shared photos from the excursion via Instagram.
"Having fun 'under the sea!'" she wrote with shots of herself with her twins. "Thank you @GeorgiaAquarium 4 a great experience. Learning CAN be fun! Knowledge is power!"
Carey, who welcomed Monroe and Moroccan with estranged husband Nick Cannon in April 2011, took in the exhibits with her kids. They held fish guides to check out and identify the sea creatures, also visiting the dolphins and other underwater animals.
Noticeably absent from the family fun day was Cannon, 33. The actor and performer confirmed this past August that his relationship with Carey had hit a rough patch.
"There is trouble in paradise," he told Yahoo! at the time. "We have been living in separate houses for a few months."
He went on to add that the children, whom Carey affectionately calls "dem babies," are his number one priority. "My main focus is my kids." Carey's publicist added when the news broke that the singer is also "focusing on her children."
