Mariah Carey’s 15-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, are growing up before her eyes.
“Twinning 💕,” Carey, 57, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, September 10, sharing photo booth snaps from the family of three’s visit to the Arte Museum in New York City.
In the snaps, the pop icon was all smiles as she stood in between Moroccan and Monroe, who each flashed a peace sign to the camera. The twins nearly matched Carey’s height.
Moroccan shared more family pics to his Instagram account alongside the caption, “On a lark.”

“How do I say this? They spend time with him, and they have a good time,” Carey told Harper’s Bazaar in July 2025, referring to the exes’ coparenting dynamic. “They spend time with me, and they have a good time. I want to make sure I’m always fair about the situation because it’s tough to grow up with divorced parents.”
Carey and Cannon, 45, were married from 2008 to 2014, finalizing their divorce two years later. The Masked Singer host is the father of 10 younger children with other partners.
“I thank God for their mothers. They kind of plan accordingly, and they don’t have to be, but they’re real empathetic to my process,” Cannon exclusively told Us in a 2024 interview. “So, you know, they do things. I’ve seen them make so many sacrifices, so I can be there and haven’t missed a birth or a birthday yet.”
Moroccan and Monroe, however, haven’t always been close to their half-siblings.
“Clearing something up guys, I only have ONE brother,” Monroe wrote via her Instagram Stories in November 2025, referring to Moroccan. “I do have other half-siblings from my dad, but they are all many years younger than me!”
Cannon later clarified his eldest daughter’s viral remarks.
“It’s so funny because the world thought that it was about a conversation that was something that it wasn’t,” he said on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast in May. “It was really about 14-year-olds talking. My daughter wanted to clear it up, and be like, ‘I only have one brother,’ like literally in her age group. … The world jumped in on some teenage gossip conversation and tried to turn it into something else, and then that upset my daughter. So she was like, ‘I didn’t mean that. I said my dad has other kids.’”
Cannon explained that he subsequently gave Monroe a lesson about social media.
“I was like, ‘Monroe, you don’t have to explain yourself to anybody, but let this be a lesson that you got to be very careful what you say on social media,’” he recalled. “People will take something very small and blow it up into something that you don’t have control over anymore.”
