Everybody wants to be Beyoncé — including Meghan King Edmonds.
The 33-year-old former Real Housewives of Orange County star channeled her inner Bey in new photos showing off her baby bump.
“If I can’t be Queen Bey I’ll settle for King Edmonds #twinscomingsoon #imitationisflattery #thisIsNotMyMaternityShoot,” she captioned the series of pics that attempted to mirror the pregnancy announcement the 36-year-old pop diva posted in February 2017 to reveal she was expecting twins.
She continued: “Incredible photos and shoot organized by @heathermohrphotography #stlouismaternityphotographer fresh flowers by @awildflowershop makeup by @mwmakeupdesigns and hair (all those clip-in extensions!) by @salonmarosie (all your Stl needs!).”
The photos — just like Beyoncé’s — show the reality star kneeling in front of a flower backdrop, cradling her bare bump. Edmonds, who is currently pregnant with twin boys, announced the happy news in an Instagram post in December 2017. She captioned a picture showing off her bump with husband Jim, their dog, and 15-month-old daughter Aspen.
“Surprise, surprise! We’re having TWINS! Oh boy oh boy! 💙💙#doubletrouble #threeundertwo,” she wrote at the time. Edmonds initially revealed that she and Jim — who wed in October 2014 — were expecting in a blog post. “So we’ve made it to the announcement: Aspen is going to be a big sister!” she wrote in November.
“It was so hard for us to keep it a secret from everyone especially since we shared our entire IVF journey with Aspen on RHOC from the very beginning,” she wrote at the time. “Tonight on the RHOC reunion you’ll see that I’m only one month pregnant, but that was filmed five weeks ago: we are now ten weeks pregnant (and I’m feeling every bit of it)!”
And this isn’t the only life change the expectant mother is going through. In January, Edmonds announced that she would no longer be on the hit Bravo reality show. “After three seasons of the rollercoaster that is The Real Housewives of Orange County I’ve decided to hang up my OC Housewife hat,” she wrote on in a lengthy blog post, noting that “filming is grueling.
