So scary. Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s husband, Tommy Feight, shared a photo of his wife in the ICU after giving birth to their baby boy.
“This is how my wife spent her first 2 days as a mom,” the Shahs of Sunset star wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, May 22. “It was without a doubt the most terrifying experience I have ever been through, I have never felt so alone and helpless and even now I can’t think of this experience without breaking down. She is a warrior and stronger then any women I know. She is my Queen my hero and my universe.”
Feight shared the shot amid news that costar Reza Farahan was granted a temporary restraining order against him, after alleging that Javid’s husband vandalized his home and threatened to kill him over the phone. Until a June 14 hearing, Feight must stay 100 yards away from Farahan, 45, and his husband, Adam Neely, according to court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight.
The new dad went on to say in his social media upload, “I will let NO ONE disrespect minimize and devalue all that she went through to bring our son into this world. I took vows to protect her and keep her safe and I will do that until my last dying breath.”
In the pic, Javid slept in a hospital bed while hooked up to machines.
The new mom shared the same photo to social media that day, writing, “No caption needed. My husband shared this photo today, and when I walked into the nursery, he was in tears again from recalling the experience.”
The reality star gave birth to her son, Shams, on April 17, and was placed in the ICU. “The night my son was born was the worst night of my life,” the new dad admitted in an Instagram video the next day. “My wife had a ton of complications. She was in surgery for, like, five hours. [The doctors] didn’t tell me nothing, but they’re amazing … They saved a life.”
Later that week, his wife told Us Weekly exclusively, “During my delivery, I lost two thirds of my body’s blood supply, requiring 19 units of blood during the surgery, then [was] intubated and placed in ICU from having significant fluid in my lungs after my C-section.”
