Even when he's crying, Hilary Duff thinks her son is adorable.

The new mom shared a photo of her unhappy baby boy, Luca Cruz, Wednesday, tweeting, "I sent my dad this pic and he said 'Luca told me to tell you, you made his oatmeal lumpy' LOL he is cute when he's mad!"

Duff, 24, tried to cheer baby Luca up by showering him with kisses, but the tears wouldn't stop flowing for the photo shoot.

The proud mother and her husband Mike Comrie welcomed their first child on March 20. "Babies smell so good!" Duff tweeted May 12. "I can't get enough. Poor guy gets loved on so much . . . I wonder if he ever feels like, 'Yo Mom, Dad, give me some space!" She later asked, "Can you kiss your kid to much? This is getting out of hand!"

The busy mom has been trying to drop the baby weight, but in a healthy way. She told Us Weekly on June 1, "Obviously, I'm not where I want to be eventually, but I'm working hard and I'm doing everything I can to lose the weight the right way. I'm breast-feeding, so you have to be careful and not do anything too drastic."

Duff added, "The second I start to get down like 'what happened to my body,' I look at my beautiful baby and I've never been more appreciative for this body that I have."
