Anyone who follows pregnant 90 Day Fiance star Paola “Pao” Mayfield on Instagram knows that the 31-year-old isn’t shy about showing off her body. But some fans thought Pao took it a little too far on Monday, November 5.
In a clip posted on Instagram, the Columbia native, who was wearing just a thong and a sports bra, turned to give viewers a view of her buttocks.
“Have some respect for yourself! You’re about to be a mother for God sakes!” wrote one woman in the comments. Added another: “Maybe U should focus more on your marriage and baby rather than your body.”
A third chided Pao for posting “porn” and advised her to have “some self respect and modesty.”
The fitness model, who is expecting her first child, a baby boy, with her husband, Russ Mayfield, anticipated the backlash.
“No, I’m not worried what my kid’s friends will say about me when they see my photos or videos,” she explained in her Instagram caption on Monday. “That is way down the road for me to even worry about.”
Pao continued: “I’m not changing just because I’m pregnant or becoming a mom.”
In July, Pao and the engineer shared their pregnancy news with Us Weekly exclusively. Preparing to be parents has brought the Oklahoma-based couple closer together.
“We’re being more patient with each other,” she told Us at the 90 Day Fiance Season 6 Mixer in October. “I’ve been calm, which is not normal for me.”
Russ echoed the sentiment, gushing to Us: “I feel like our goals are aligned.”
Pao and Russ celebrated their five-year wedding anniversary in October.
