“Due to complications from hyperemesis I am not cleared to fly for the next couple weeks,” the Trainwreck star, 37, wrote via Instagram on Friday, February 22. “I am going to cancel the remainder of my tour. Refunds are available at point of purchase.”

Schumer went on to give an update on her and her unborn baby as well as explain the cancellation. “The baby and I are healthy and everything looks good. But I am in my 3rd trimester and I am still nauseous all the time and vomiting. I vomit mostly every time i ride in a car even for 5 minutes,” she noted. “I have a pretty good attitude about it and some days I feel good for a couple hours. But mostly it’s [sic] sucks.”

She concluded by shilling a few jokes: “I wanted to push through and do my shows. Because I hate letting people down and I love stand up and money! But more than that I have to think about my health and the baby. I know you guys get it and people are like. Bitch are you ok? Take it easy but it’s still embarrassing to have to cancel.”

The comedian added a cry-face emoji and a heart emoji in her caption. She was previously scheduled to perform in Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, and Austin, Texas, from Thursday, February 28, to Sunday, March 3.

Schumer shared her pregnancy news in October 2018, eight months after she and Fischer, 39, wed in a secret ceremony.

Since then, the Emmy winner has been open about her health problems. She was hospitalized in Texas in November 2018 for hyperemesis gravidarum, which is characterized by severe nausea. “Baby’s fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester. … It blows,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bulls—t!” Schumer was forced to cancel shows then too.

The I Feel Pretty star later posted a video of herself vomiting while en route to a performance, telling fans amid sickness: “I’m so grateful and excited to be a mom.”
