Mama’s got jokes! Pregnant Eva Longoria posted a photo to her Instagram account on Friday, January 26, to show her excitement for the weekend — and to jog her memory of her pre-baby body.
“FRI-NALLY!!! 🎉🙌🏼 #FlashbackFriday…. I had to post this to remind me where my waistline was!! 😂😂😂,” the 42-year-old Desperate Housewives alum captioned a photo of herself in a tight, white dress showing off her trim figure.
But don’t let the quip fool you! Longoria, who is about five months along, has been proudly showing off her growing baby bump on social media and on the red carpet since news broke of her growing family. Us Weekly confirmed on December 19 that she and husband Jose Baston are expecting their first child, a baby boy.
Whether glowing in Christmas pajamas, workout gear, or a plunging black gown supporting the #TimesUp movement at the 2018 Golden Globes — the expectant mother has been documenting her journey for fans to follow.
On New Year’s Day, she took to Instagram to celebrate her bundle of joy. With friends’ hands placed on her stomach, she wrote: “New year, new adventures! I’m so grateful to my beautiful family for giving this new baby so much love already! 🙏🏻 #HappyNewYear #2018.”
Longoria and Baston tied the knot in Acapulco, Mexico, in May 2016. The media mogul shares three kids, José, Tali and Mariana, with ex-wife Natalia Esperón. Following their nuptials, Longoria revealed that she was in no rush to get pregnant. “We have a family,” she said the following month. “Three kids, so we’re just continuing with our family we have now and waiting.”
