Steven Tyler doesn’t want to miss a thing when it comes to Kate Hudson’s pregnancy.
Hudson shared an adorable photo of the 70-year-old Aerosmith frontman hugging her from behind and cradling her baby bump on Monday, April 16. She captioned the picture: “Baby girl got some good hugs from Papa Tyler this weekend.”
The Fabletics cocreator noted in her post that she was missing the rocker’s daughter Liv Tyler. (Hudson and Liv became close when they attended the same high school, Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences, in the 1990s.)
The Almost Famous actress, 38, revealed in an April 6 Instagram post that she and her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, will be welcoming a daughter together. “We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m popping now!” she wrote. “It’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting than just coming out with it.”
With a nausea-filled first trimester behind her, Hudson is now back to her energetic self. The star flew to Hong Kong for her first public appearance on April 10 since announcing her pregnancy. Four days later, she attended Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk’s star-studded engagement party in L.A.
This isn’t the first time Hudson has snapped a selfie with the rock legend. The pals were seated next to each other on a flight from Toronto to Los Angeles in September 2016, and they documented the run-in with a smiling photo on Instagram.
Hudson has two sons, Ryder, 14, and Bingham, 6, from previous relationships with Chris Robinson and Matt Bellamy, respectively. A source told Us Weekly earlier this month that Hudson wanted a girl “more than anything.”
