Snooki may be well into her first pregnancy, but that doesn’t mean the pint-sized reality star has to steer totally clear of GTL-ing with her pals.
Giving up her beloved tanning for the sake of her unborn baby — a boy! — Snooki (real name: Nicole Polizzi) tells Us Weekly that she’s turned to pal Jenni “JWoww” Farley for fitness tips and tricks.
“The motivation is key, and I’m lacking that right now, but I go on my Bowflex once a week,” the pregnant reality star — engaged to her baby’s daddy, Jioni LaValle — says.
To help Snooki, 24, stay focused, JWoww, 26 — who dates body builder Roger Mathews — developed a pregnancy routine tailored to her pal’s target areas. “I know a lot of pregnant girls and I made a pregnancy routine for Nicole at the gym so she can go with us — very light and easy,” JWoww explains.
JWoww has her pal doing lots of leg exercises, cardio and back strengthening moves. “When her belly gets bigger, she needs to be able to support [the baby],” JWoww says. “And then [I suggest she do] pregnancy yoga.”
As Snooki and JWoww prepare to premiere their MTV spinoff, aptly titled Snooki & JWoww, Thursday, Snooki tells Us she’s anxious for her friend to soon experience the joys of motherhood.
“I don’t want to have play dates with any celebs — I’m a normal person, so probably just my family and friends that have kids,” the mom-to-be explains, adding that she’s holding out for JWoww specifically. “I’m waiting for her to get knocked up!”
