Vanessa Minnillo had always dreamed of becoming a mother, and in a few months’ time, she will be!
“I’m very excited either way, but I always wanted a boy first,” the Winter Wipeout host, 31, tweeted Wednesday. “Just a healthy baby.”
Minnillo is eager to learn her baby’s gender, as she tweeted a photo of a gender prediction test Tuesday. “Am I crazy for wanting to try this?” she asked. “I’m such a sucker for this kind of stuff!”
The newly married star, who wed singer Nick Lachey in July, added that she’s been feeling “really good” since her husband announced their baby news on LIVE! With Kelly March 5. “I’ve been lucky,” she tweeted. “No morning sickness!”
The TV host and former MTV VJ also said she hopes to raise their baby in L.A. Once their child becomes a toddler, she wants to relocate to Lachey’s hometown of Cincinnati, where they already own a home.
Minnillo, who began dating Lachey in 2006, was in New York City when she called up her husband in The Bahamas to share the good news. “She went to the store and got a pregnancy test and it came back positive,” Lachey said on LIVE! With Kelly. “We’re having a baby!”
