Is Champagne Papi a father? Pusha T claims in his new diss track “The Story of Adidon” that Drake has a secret child with former porn star Sophie Brussaux.
The 41-year-old rapper debuted the track on Hot 97 on Tuesday, May 29, before releasing it on SoundCloud alongside a throwback photo of what appears to be the Toronto native, 31, in blackface makeup. Pusha T (real name Terrence Thornton) claimed on Twitter that the image is unedited.
“The Story of Adidon” finds Pusha T rapping over the beat of Jay-Z’s 2017 song “The Story of O.J.” and claiming that Drake fathered a baby named Adonis with Brussaux.
“Since you name-dropped my fiancée / Let ‘em know who you chose as your Beyoncé / Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother,” he raps in the first verse. “Cleaned her up for IG, but the stench is on her / A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap / We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts / You are hiding a child, let that boy come home / Deadbeat motherf–ka, playin’ border control.”
Pusha T further claims that the “Hotline Bling” singer’s alleged child is named after his upcoming Adidas line. “Adonis is your son / And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real,” he raps. “Love that baby, respect that girl / Forget she’s a porn star, let her be your world.”
The “Trouble on My Mind” MC also takes aim at Drake’s father (“Dennis Graham, stay off the ‘gram”) and producer Noah “40” Shebib (“OVO 40 hunched over like he 80 / Tick, tick tick / How much time he got? That man is sick, sick, sick”). Shebib, 35, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2005.
The two rappers have been trading insults in the form of music for years. Pusha T reignited the feud last week on his new song “Infrared,” which prompted Drake (real name Aubrey Graham) to hit back hours later with “Duppy Freestyle.”
Drake and French artist Brussaux were spotted having dinner together at a Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam in late January 2017. Three months later, she claimed to TMZ that she was pregnant with his baby. In response, the “Nice for What” rapper’s rep told Us Weekly at the time, “This woman has a very questionable background. She has admitted to having multiple relationships. We understand she may have problems getting into the United States. She’s one of many women claiming he got them pregnant. These claims have always proven to be unfounded. If it is in fact Drake’s child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Drake’s rep for comment on Pusha T’s claims.
