While chatting with DeGeneres, Reynolds admitted that parenthood is exhausting. “It’s hard. It’s always a challenge, with two kids,” he revealed. “I think of blinking now like tiny little breaks.” But the Two Guys and a Girl alum wouldn’t have it any other way. “It’s the dream,” he gushed. “They’re like my buddies.”

Once Upon a Deadpool  —  a PG-13 re-release of Deadpool 2 — will hit theaters on Wednesday, December 12, and run through Christmas Eve.

“Cause parents and adults, myself included, want content that they can watch with their kids that’s also entertaining for you,” Reynolds said on Tuesday. “And that’s what this version of Deadpool is.”

James and Inez are still a bit young for the flick, so Reynolds has his fingers crossed for a new Disney hit. “I have seen Frozen with my daughters so, so many times,” he sighed. “People don’t know this, a lot of people don’t know this, but if you actually watch Frozen backwards, it’s actually a shot for shot remake of The Exorcist. So that would obviously enrage a lot of parents.”

For every Once Upon a Deadpool ticket sold, $1 will be donated to F–K Cancer.
