Strike a pose! Taylor Swift took a red-eye flight on Saturday, June 13, to jet into Los Angeles and throw best pal Jaime King a baby shower to remember — complete with hilarious fancy dress outfits, a photo booth and a whole host of celebrity guests!
Swift, who had spent the night before entertaining thousands of fans in Pittsburgh on the latest leg of her 1989 tour, didn't look the slightest bit jaded on Sunday, as she donned a black top hat and a matching feather fan to ham it up with her pregnant pal King for a set of classic photo booth pictures.
"How can I put this into words," her appreciative pal King captioned the cute photos which she shared on Instagram later that night. "@taylorswift is not only going to be an exquisite Godmother but one of the best friends one could ask for. Thank you Tay for throwing me such an insanely beautiful baby shower. Less then 12 hours after performing for 100k strong. I love you SO MUCH xx."
Other guests at the super-glam event held at West Hollywood's Soho House for the 36-year-old future mom-of-two included Gigi Hadid, Jessica Alba, Nina Dobrev, Diane Kruger, Hailee Steinfeld, Sarah Hyland, Topher Grace, Selma Blair, Emma Roberts, and Joey King (Grace and Alba are godparents to King's first born son, James).
"Beautiful baby shower….showering these two amazing human beings with love," Vampire Diaries star Dobrev captioned a snap of King with her husband Kyle Newman.
"The babes loving the baby," King captioned another photo showing Steinfeld and Joey King puckering up to kiss her baby bump.
Back in March, King and Swift announced the news that the "Shake It Off" singer would be godmother to her pal's unborn baby.
"Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one….." a proud Swift captioned a shot, shared via Instagram, of her caressing King's baby bump, adding in a "ME" in brackets, in case anyone had any trouble figuring it out!
