Those baby blues! Teen Mom OG star Tyler Baltierra wrote an adorable message about his daughter Novalee via Instagram on Tuesday, April 19.
“I love being a daddy to this little girl! She’s the light to my darkness, the smile to my frowns, the sunshine to my dusk & the warmth to my shivers,” Baltierra, 24, captioned a photo of the two snuggling in bed.
“She keeps me going through it all & makes every day of mine worth living,” the proud dad continued. “I love you so much #NovaleeReign & will always protect you #MyTootieFruitee #MyMonkey #MyBaby #MyDaughter.”
Baltierra and his wife, Catelynn Lowell, welcomed their baby girl, 15 months, on New Year’s Day last year. The MTV stars placed their firstborn daughter Carly, now 6, for adoption in 2009.
As previously reported, Baltierra and Lowell, 24, reunited earlier this month. Lowell returned home on April 9 after a brief stint in Arizona’s Sierra Tucson treatment facility for mental health issues. (The series documented her battle with postpartum depression after Nova’s birth this past season.)
“Me & Tootie are off to Arizona to go get @catelynnmtv I can’t wait to come home with my wife & my whole family together again,” Baltierra wrote via Instagram at the time. “This past month has been a little rough by myself, but nothing I wouldn’t do all over again for my family. Cate’s health, safety & security, has & always will be my main priority. I love you Babe & can’t wait to kiss your face & hold you in my arms again! #BaltierraFamilyStrong.”
