A future little basketball star. Tony Parker and his wife, Axelle Francine, have welcomed their second child, the NBA player announced on Twitter on Friday, July 29.
“My son Liam and his mommy are doing well, so glad to be a daddy for the second time,” he wrote, adding several heart-eyed emojis. “#HappyFamily.”
The San Antonio Spurs player tied the knot with the French journalist in August 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. The couple are already parents of 2-year-old Josh.
Parker first announced the pregnancy news back in February, and revealed that they were expecting a baby boy. He wrote on Twitter, “My wonderful wife and I are happy to announce that our son Josh is going to have a little brother! #family #theparkers #happy.”
Next up, Parker will represent his home country of France in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. Several months ago, he wavered about joining the team due to his wife’s due date being so close to the Opening Ceremony.
The point guard was previously married to Eva Longoria for three years, but the couple split in November 2010.
In May, Longoria wed José “Pepe” Bastón in Acapulco, Mexico, in a star-studded ceremony at the Televisa president’s luxury estate.
