Scheana Shay stopped taking birth control pills last month. “I’m in the process of freezing my eggs right now,” the Vanderpump Rules star told Us Weekly at the 2018 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 30. “I was like, ‘Oh, my God. I’m really doing this.’ And I freaked the F out.”
Shay, 33, admitted she is “terrified” about the hormone injections. “I’m not looking forward to it,” the Bravo personality revealed. “But I know it would be very selfish of me to not do it now and then be, like, 40 and find the love of my life and be like, ‘I should have frozen my eggs when I was 33.’”
The “Good as Gold” singer filed from divorce from her Vanderpump Rules costar and husband of two years, Mike Shay, in November 2016. Since the split, Sheana has dated Amber Valletta’s brother, Robert Valletta, and SUR bartender Adam Spott. In November, Scheana attended an event with Tom Tom employee Max Boyens — though she swears they are “not serious.”
At the moment, Scheana is happily playing the field. “I’m single. Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, you move on quick. You always have a new guy.’ And I’m like, ‘That’s called dating. Single girls date.’ If I was dating one person, that would be my boyfriend. I would be in a relationship., No one has captured my interest enough to make me want to settle down again.”
Scheana can see herself being someone’s wife one day. “With Rob, I thought that’s where it was going,” she told Us. “So I still do believe in marriage. But it would take someone really, really special to have me go through all that again.”
