What a weekend! Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi rang in her third child’s impending arrival with a baby shower on Saturday, May 4, at her mother-in-law’s house, a source told Us Weekly.
Snooki posted videos on Instagram Stories that afternoon, including shots balloons, platters of food throughout the kitchen and piles of wrapped gifts for Angelo. She also showed a video of a “hungover” Jenni “JWoww” Farley, and her daughter Giovanna, 4, swimming in the backyard pool.
The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star, 31, asked her Instagram followers for help picking an outfit for the special occasion on Wednesday, May 1.
“My family is throwing me a Sprinkle this weekend & these are my options from @thesnookishop,” she captioned a series of mirror selfies. “Although they aren’t maternity, the stretch and comfort works! Let me know in the comments below which pic I should wear!”
The reality star revealed the winner on her Instagram Story the next day — a navy leaf-patterned number with cutouts, which was costar Deena Nicole Cortese’s favorite.
Polizzi revealed in November 2018 that she and her husband, Jionni Lavalle, are expecting their third child. The couple, who already share son Lorenzo, 6, and daughter Giovanna, 4, have a second son on the way.
Last month, the Snooki Shop owner shared their baby-to-be’s name on Instagram. “BIG MAWMA #almosttime #ANGELO,” the MTV personality captioned her social media upload.
In the sweet selfie, Giovanna kissed her mom’s baby bump. “They can’t wait for their little brother,” the Strong Is the New Sexy author told Us Weekly exclusively in January.
She’s looking forward to welcoming her son as well, especially after such a difficult pregnancy. She told Us, “I’m super nauseous, much more than I was with my other two. I just feel like every day I wake up and there’s something wrong with me. My stomach hurts or I’m cranky and I can’t move and just to need to lay down. It’s really annoying, the pregnancy. It’s not my favorite.”
Polizzi and LaValle, 32, tied the knot in 2014 in New Jersey.
