Happily wed! Adam Levine revealed to Ellen DeGeneres during an interview for The Ellen DeGeneres Show (airing Sept. 8) that he “adores” being married to model Behati Prinsloo.
“I never really thought I would adore it. It’s so trippy. I’m a child. How did this happen?” the Maroon 5 frontman admitted of being head over heels with the model, whom he wed in Mexico this past July. “I use that word [wife] right now a lot,” the 35-year-old, who was joined by fellow Voice coaches Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams, and Gwen Stefani for the interview, said.
“I say it for no reason,” Levine laughed. “I say it a lot — ‘Wife wife wife,’ I love it. I even changed her number in my phone to ‘Wife,'” he admitted.
The Voice newbie Gwen Stefani also told the talk show host her decision to join the hit NBC competition show came out of the blue.
“I had [just had] the baby [Apollo]. I was sitting with my parents, I had some friends over and the call just came in,” she revealed of when NBC contacted her. “It was so short, [like] ‘Do you wanna do The Voice?’ And I was like … ‘What do I do?’ And I started asking all my friends, ‘Dude shall I do it? Shall I do it?’ And I was like. ‘I’m going to do it!'”
