Adele’s Isolated SNL Vocal Track Proves She’s Queen of the Universe: Listen!

Pitch perfect! Over the weekend, Adele nailed her performance as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. The unstoppable singer, 27, performed a flawless rendition of two tracks from her new album, 25 — “When We Were Young” and her record-breaking single “Hello.”

But just when you thought Adele couldn’t possibly sound any better, a video of her isolated vocals from Saturday’s performance leaked online. The raw mic feed proves that Adele really is the queen of the universe.

Many singers dread the leak of their isolated vocals, but Adele has nothing to fear. She sounds nearly identical to the album recording that everyone has had on repeat since its Nov. 20 release — possibly even better. Her raw emotion complements her already incredible vocals.

The leak only adds to Adele’s impressive week. She is set to break *N Sync’s long-standing one-week U.S. album sales record with her third studio album, 25, which is expected to sell at least 2.5 million copies in its first week, according to Billboard.

Watch (and listen!) to the video above to find out how perfect Adele’s pipes really are.
