Alex Rodriguez is moving on in the wake of his split from Jaclyn Cordeiro.
After Rodriguez, 50, was spotted packing on the PDA in the Hamptons over the July 4 weekend, Page Six reported on Tuesday, July 7, that his mystery woman is private fitness coach Meghan Hayden.
“They are dating. It’s new. She’s a really nice person from a great family,” an insider told the outlet.
Us Weekly reached out to Rodriguez’s rep for comment.
In photos obtained by Us Weekly, Rodriguez was kissing a brunette — who has since been identified as Hayden — at Michael Rubin’s annual White Party in the Hamptons. Rubin, 53, typically hosts his elaborate celebration on the 4th of July, but the date was changed this year. Ahead of the event, he addressed speculation that the bash was moved due to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s nuptials in New York City on Friday, July 3.
“We were debating the dates. We were certainly aware of that date, but we didn’t change it because of that date,” Rubin told People in an interview published Thursday, July 2. “We were aware of that date and we didn’t want to have people have to choose. People come to the White Party no matter when we do it. The White Party is going to be spectacular.”
The update in Rodriguez’s dating life comes weeks after Cordeiro, 46, shared that she and Rodriguez were no longer an item.
“To clarify, Alex and I are currently taking some time apart, but there continues to be mutual love, care and deep respect between us and for our families. We remain supportive of one another, and there is absolutely no animosity, drama or negative story here,” Cordeiro told TMZ in a statement published in May.
The statement continued, “I’m also navigating a serious health matter involving a family member at this time, so my focus is understandably there. Alex and I continue to be very close, and out of respect for everyone involved, especially our daughters and loved ones, I’d kindly ask that any reporting reflects the compassion and privacy this situation deserves.”
Us confirmed in October 2022 that Rodriguez and Cordeiro were dating. The pair made their Instagram debut as a couple that December. Prior to Cordeiro, Rodriguez was engaged to Jennifer Lopez from 2019 to 2021.
Rodriguez shares two daughters with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, whom he was married to for six years. The pair’s marriage came to an end when Scurtis filed for divorce in 2008.
