Amanda Bynes is back and looking good! The 27-year-old actress has been reunited with her family after completing several months of inpatient treatment for mental illness. She went for a walk with her parents, Lynn and Rick, and their dogs in Thousand Oaks, Calif. on Thursday, Dec. 5.

The former Nickelodeon star looked happy and healthy walking with her family. She wore a black leather jacket, white "Gangsta Love" sweatshirt, skinny jeans, sneakers, sunglasses and a baseball cap. See more photos of Amanda Bynes through the years.

Bynes was placed on a 5150 involuntary hold back in July following months of bizarre behavior. In September she was transferred from the psych ward at UCLA Medical Center to a treatment facility in Malibu.

"Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery," Bynes' attorney, Tamar Arminak, told Us Weekly on Thursday. "Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day."

"She's now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design. She's mentioned before she's interested in creating a clothing line," Arminak added. "Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She's very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared."
