Amy Duggar Tweeted That She Was "Laughing Hysterically" at Brad
Amy Duggar tweeted that she was "laughing hysterically" at a joke that Brad Paisley made at her cousin Josh's expense at the CMAs on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

LOL. Amy Duggar couldn’t help but laugh at drama surrounding her famous family when 2015 CMA co-host Brad Paisley cracked a joke about her cousin Josh Duggar on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

“Whoa!! @BradPaisley wasn’t expecting THAT!!!” the 28-year-old tweeted after the “Crushin’ It” crooner, 43, poked fun at Josh’s explosive sex scandal from August. “Laughing hysterically,” she added.

In the opening monologue of the awards ceremony, Paisley asked co-host Carrie Underwood, “Carrie, have you heard that duet Blake did with Ashley Madison?”

“No, no, that was Ashley Monroe,” Underwood, 32, responded.

“Have I been going to the wrong site?” Paisley deadpanned. “We don’t have to be lonely at farmersonly.com …Bored with your wife? And your sister, too? Your cheating side will tell on you … Josh Duggar.”

As previously reported, Amy’s new husband, Dillon King, initially shared a video clip of the monologue’s joke to Instagram with the caption, “@bradpaisley you are the man!!! #bestthingever.” The post has since been deleted from his account.

The Duggar family wasn’t the only target of Paisley’s razor-sharp tongue that night, however.

The country singer also took a jab at pal Blake Shelton, who recently stepped out with a new girlfriend, fellow Voice coach Gwen Stefani, following his July split from wife Miranda Lambert.

After joking about Kermit and Miss Piggy’s heartbreaking split (“They’re not even sitting together!”), Paisley quipped, “And on an unrelated note, howdy, Blake!”

Shelton, 39, took his pal’s ribbing in stride, and tweeted at his fellow country singer the next day.

“Ha!! Don’t worry brother man,” he replied to Paisley’s comment about him being a good sport. “If there’s anybody on earth who’s learned to take it its me!!! Love you buddy.”
