Could it be? Selena Gomez hinted that she and ex Justin Bieber may not be over yet — at least in terms of music. The “Hands to Myself” singer shared a clip of her version of DJ Snake and Bieber’s forthcoming song, “Let Me Love You,” which immediately sent Jelena fans into a frenzy.
Gomez, 24, posted a seconds-long Snapchat video over the weekend of her rendition of the EDM tune in what may be a teaser of an upcoming collaboration between the on-again, off-again couple. In the clip, she mischievously giggles while lounging in bed as the song plays in the background.

Sharp-eared Jelena fans quickly recognized the track because DJ Snake previewed Bieber’s version on Twitter just days earlier. In the teaser video, the “Love Yourself” crooner, 22, sings, “Don’t you give up / I won’t give up / Let me love you,” over an electronic beat, the same one heard in Gomez’s brief preview.

DJ Snake (né William Sami Etienne Grigahcine) further ignited rumors when he cryptically tweeted a purple heart emoji to the “Kill Em With Kindness” songstress on Sunday, July 31.

The French producer also reportedly liked several tweets about the potential collab, but unliked the evidence shortly after.
Eager fans will get to hear “Let Me Love You” in full on DJ Snake’s new album, Encore, when it’s released on Friday, August 5. Bieber is billed as the sole featured artist on the track on the iTunes preorder page, which leads Us to believe that Gomez’s version may be an upcoming remix, a cover or even an uncredited vocal cameo.
The former couple famously dated on and off from 2011 to 2014 and have since spoken out about one another on multiple occasions. In November 2015, Bieber told Billboard magazine, “I’m proud of the woman she is today. When you love someone that much, even if something comes between you, it’s a love that never really dies.”
