All the feels. Blake Lively shared a sweet message for husband Ryan Reynolds after he was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of their two children on Thursday, December 15.
“Proud is a pitiful word to describe how I felt today,” Lively, 29, captioned an Instagram pic that showed her, Reynolds and their daughter James, 2, standing on his newly unveiled plaque. “@vancityreynolds The permanence of your impact is undeniable …Always has been, but now we have a fancy [star] to show for it.”
As Us Weekly previously reported, the couple’s two daughters made their public debut at the Deadpool actor’s Walk of Fame ceremony.
“I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is sitting right there, who is everything to me. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me,” Reynolds, 40, said during the event, acknowledging the Shallows actress, who sat in the audience holding James. “You make everything better. You make everything in my life better. You’ve given me two of the most incredible children I’ve ever hoped to have.”

The private couple have kept their children, and even their 3-month-old daughter’s name, under wraps until now.
Little James and her golden ringlets stole the spotlight from her famous parents. At one point the toddler took the mic away from her dad and shook it around as the family posed for photos.
Reynolds later took to Instagram to thank the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for the honor. “This is one of those ‘pinch me’ moments. But not in the creepy way my Aunt used to do it,” he captioned a photo that showed him kneeling by his star.
