Blake Shelton found a way to finally see wife Gwen Stefani crush it at The Sphere alongside her No Doubt bandmates.

“So proud of my wife @gwenstefani and the @nodoubt guys for working their asses off and putting on this hell of a show,” the country singer, 49, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, May 24. “Finally got a night off to see it.. Un-freakin-real.”

Shelton’s post included video from the Las Vegas show where Stefani, 56, announced on stage he was in attendance.

“Memorial Day weekend, Blake Shelton is here,” Stefani gushed to the crowd. Shelton excitedly exclaimed, “That’s me!”

Shelton included a clip of Stefani performing her song “Just a Girl” as he and the crowd sang along to the track. He also featured several moments from the band’s set at the iconic Las Vegas venue.

Following the show, Shelton met Stefani backstage where she gave him his own No Doubt jacket. After putting on the jacket, the couple shared a sweet hug.

Earlier this month, Shelton missed Stefani’s debut show at The Sphere — but for a valid reason. That same night, he had his own concert in the same city. While on stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Shelton poked fun at the situation.

“My wife came to town. She’s here. I mean, she’s not here. She’s over there. The other venue,” he told the crowd on May 6. “What kind of a d***head books us on the exact same nights, every single night? I think my manager did that, and he’s here, isn’t he?”

Shelton explained that Stefani and her bandmates — Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young — were kicking off their month-long residency at The Sphere.

“My wife, Gwen Stefani. I like to say it out loud. I know it’s kind of douchey. She’s playing tonight over at the Sphere. I’m so glad y’all aren’t there. It’s weird to say, but it’s true,” he joked. “One of the things that I heard her say on stage was, and I thought to myself, ‘Man, if I ever get to do a residency in Vegas, I’m gonna do that too.’ She got on stage, she goes, ‘We’re in Las Vegas. We can do whatever in the hell we wanna do.’ OK? Don’t tell any authorities that I said that to you … You’re on your own. But I heard Gwen say that, and then she would sing whatever songs she was gonna sing. It would freak people out.”

Stefani and Shelton met in 2014 while working on The Voice. While they started off as colleagues, their connection developed into something more. The pair began dating in 2015 following Shelton’s divorce from Miranda Lambert. Shelton and Stefani tied the knot six years later.
